4 Class Intro to Mindfulness Meditation Course - optional add-on 1 x 30 min 1:1 session

The benefits of mindfulness, meditation and compassion are many; learning these skills brings a greater sense of ease, happiness and acceptance to how we respond to our inner and outer experiences.
It lowers our physiological stress response and creates more calm.

We learn to stay present to what is actually here, relating to our circumstances with more kindness and awareness, skillfully navigating the ups and downs of life.

Who is the 4 week Intro course for:

Beginners or those with a little bit of previous Mindfulness or Meditation experience.

What will I learn in these 4 x 90 minute sessions:

  • The foundations of mindfulness

  • How to structure a daily practice of meditation

  • How to apply mindfulness in day to day life

  • A variety of meditation techniques and practices

  • Audio guided meditations to keep from each class

  • The add-on 1:1 session is an opportunity to look more deeply into an area of your choice.*

    *1:1 session to be booked within 2 weeks of course completion

What to bring:

Please wear comfortable loose clothes or yoga pants and top, extra layers if you feel the cold and something to wear if we do meditation outside.

You may wish to bring a journal and your favourite blanket/throw or your own yoga mat,

whatever will make you feel comfortable.

The studio provides yoga mats, meditation cushions and chairs for our various practices.

There will be a maximum of 8 participants per class

Deborah Royce

Mindfulness and meditation embodies the gentle spirit of seeking the sun that is within us all, a radiant journey towards self-discovery and, from that place, engaging effectively with our life from a present moment perspective.

It creates a strong connection between mind, body and breath, supporting a more interconnected and joyful life.

It accompanies yoga in being an embodied practice where we learn more about ourselves and how to respond with compassion and kindness.

Learning these skills and practicing them regularly, brings a greater sense of ease, happiness and acceptance to how we navigate our inner and outer experiences.
We learn to stay present to what is actually here, relating to our circumstances with awareness, kindness and compassion whilst learning skills to navigate the ups and downs of life.

Trained as a Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher and Certified Transformational Coach, Deborah brings her many years of teaching and coaching experience to group classes and 1:1 sessions.

Her way of teaching and coaching is gentle, intuitive and soul based. She aims for you to reach a deeper understanding of yourself, find presence, peace and stillness and to feel more connection with all of life, whilst cultivating the innate inner light and intuition that can help you steer a wise path in the world.
